Cooking rabbit in sour cream:

Step 1: Prepare the rabbit.

Wash the rabbit carcass well under cold running water, then dry it with a kitchen cotton towel. Now separate the whole fat from the meat and cut into portions, of any size, as you like. Salt pieces of meat a little, season to your taste with black ground pepper. Fold in a separate container. Put the fat left over from the rabbit on the preheated over medium heatpan and fry it. After that, put pieces of rabbit in it, fry on both sides until a golden blush is formed on the meat, add marjoram. Then remove from heat.

Step 2: Prepare the vegetables.

Peel onions, rinse under a stream of cold water and cut into half rings. Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater. Now take thick bottom pan, first lay the roasted rabbit on its bottom, and place the previously chopped vegetables on top, add the bay leaf.

Step 3: Cook the sour cream sauce.

To do this, put the sour cream in a deep bowl, then pour it with clean water and mix welluntil a mixture is homogeneous.

Step 4: Stew the rabbit.

Put the pan with meat on a fire below average, pour in the prepared sour cream sauce. Stew the dish for about 1 hour, in the end, the rabbit meat should clearly be easily separated from the bone. If necessary, add warm water to the pan.

Step 5: Serve the rabbit in sour cream.

Remove the finished dish from the heat, cover and let it brew a little, about 20 minutes. Then put the meat in portioned plates and serve. As a side dish, if it's lunch, you can serve stewed vegetables, and if dinner, you can cook mashed potatoes or bake it. Good appetite!

Recipe Tips:

- - If you wish, you can add any seasoning you want to the sour cream sauce. This will enhance the taste of the dish, just don't overdo it.

- - You can use any pre-chopped greens as a decoration for the dish.

- - As a side dish for this dish, boiled rice or fresh vegetables are perfect.
